Founder member of the band and stalwart of the irish traditional music scene, with a distinctive laid-back presence on fiddle.  Recorded for Warner Bros, played with Irish Mist for many years, and is an award winning journalst.

THE BAND

The band’s main singer/songwriter, has played and sung with a range of bands including Poormouth, Moondance, MrJJ and the slightly scary Seven Second Delay, which featured Doug Strathie and the late lamented Chanter drummer Al Kealy.

Chanter’s brilliant rhythm man and purveyor of fine guitar sounds, and the only person we know who’s played the “Psychokiller” guitar.  Steno also works with the excellent Carnival Band and in theatre.

Malcolm Rogers - fiddle, vocals

Roddy Rogers - vocals, guitar, mandola, fiddle

Steno Vitale - guitar, mandolin, djembe, backing vocals

The band’s latest top-notch percussionist, Simon has worked with Roddy on a range of projects and brings a rare musicality to his drumming.  Oh, and plays the finest Gretsch kit you’re likely to hear!

Simon Rattray - drums, percussion, backing vocals
